Jeenho Seo(b. 1989) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the complexities of individuality and emotional space shaped by societal contexts. His practice begins with daily journaling, where he documents personal experiences and responses to broader socio-political issues, which are then translated into visual forms. Often incorporating symbolic imagery and materials such as clothing, food, and found objects, his works blur the line between art and life. Since 2018, Seo has engaged diverse groups—from family members to local communities—as collaborators, resulting in participatory installations and site-specific projects in unconventional settings.

Seo received his BFA in East Asian Painting and Sculpture from Hong-Ik University in 2015 and his MFA in Sculpture from the Yale School of Art in 2021. He has exhibited at venues including Subtitled NYC (Brooklyn, NY), Below Grand (New York, NY), High Line Nine (New York, NY), M23 Gallery (New York, NY), Gallery H (Seoul, Korea), and Culture Station Seoul 284 (Seoul, Korea). His projects have been realized in non-traditional settings such as construction sites (Pangyo 621, Korea), project space BACKYARDGHOST (Brooklyn, NY), and nearby parks. Seo’s work has been supported by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture (2017).
